First Way: It is up to you to set a good example for all of your fellow workers. The first way you can do this is to always come into the office on time. The second is to be there all of the time by never being absent or going home early except under special circumstances. The third is to treat everyone in the firm with respect.
Second Way: You can make a big contribution by helping to improve the firm's bottom line as a result of producing an output of work that brings in more revenue than what you are paid. The first thing that can help you do this is to do your best. The second is to update the skills that are relevant to your career and get additional education, if necessary. The third is to closely follow all of your instructions for each task - in order to be able to do this, you must be a good listener and not tune out any of the information you do not want to hear.
Third Way: Instead of always only thinking about yourself, you need to think about others too. One good way to do this is to take new, less experienced employees under your wing and become a mentor to them. Another is to attempt to help co-workers and members of the management team whenever they are in a predicament.
Fourth Way: Instead of sitting back and letting others do all of the thinking and make all of the decisions, you can step up and make your voice heard. You can do this by offering ideas as well as solutions to problems during the company meetings and other occasions.
Fifth Way: You can save your company time as well as money on advertising for help by being a good source for information. If you know qualified people who are looking for a job, you should let the human resources department know.
