Nowadays society enjoys reading gossip, and the latest stories of their favorite celebrities. Whether it's good or bad, but honestly I think there is a higher percentage of people who like reading gossip and the not so pleasant stories.
Technology is advancing every second of everyday. Now we have blogs, and blog websites. These sites are souly used for the opinions of the regular (Joe's). Not editors, nor journalist, just the average man/women. Let's not forget websites committed to dishing out news on today's most popular celebs.
For example.....
TMZ.com
Perezhilton.com
Mediatakeout.com
We are at the highest point of the information age. It doesn't matter if your 9 or 90. Mostly everyone takes part in this. In ways they may not even realize. To tell you the truth, I enjoy reading all sorts of articles and stories; whether it is about popular celebrities or those we have not seen in a while.
Some publications will print sensationalist claims against celebs. This is where I think they go too far. They print the story, but at the very bottom, it reads so and so's rep did not confirm. But at this point, it's too late. The reader will believe what he/she has already read. It's a very true fact, that's happens over and over again. It's not going to stop, it won't stop.
The media is making way too much money to start thinking about morals. Morals go out the window, as soon as the journalist sits in front of that computer to write the story. Better yet as soon as they get the lead on the story.
