Have a Night Out on the Town at the Kress Cinema & Lounge in Greeley, Colorado

The Kress Cinema & Lounge is a stylish independent movie theater that offers a nice diverse menu, full service bar and a warm fireplace. Everything is beautiful! Modern 1950s style is how I like to think of it. In fact, when I first walked into the place, I wondered if I was hip enough to be there. Take a look for yourself by clicking here. Once you go, it is the only place you will ever want to watch a movie again! You will find a wide array of showings at the Kress; from Dirty Dancing to The Evil Dead. I watched Casablanca for the first time at the Kress, and must admit, it felt right to watch it there. Most of the films are of the Sundance Film Festival variety and are not shown at other theaters. The best part about the Kress is the free movies they play on Friday (9:30 pm) and Sunday (7:00 pm). Friday is cult classic night, and Sunday is reserved for the classics. Either way, it is hard to beat a free movie! In addition to movies, the Kress features live music weekly on Friday and Saturday nights (8:30 pm). There is no cover charge to get in. I love going there for beers and live bands!

The Kress has a full service bar, so you can have some of the best drinks in town during the show. Beers from Greeley's own Crabtree Brewing Company are featured here.
