Have No Fear

A.M. Morgan
Whom shall I fear?

The only true enemy is fighting against the purposeful person within

But from the face of fear I must suspend

Greatness is on the horizon

My hands are now free to mold me into the best of what I can be

My past is over but of it I am unafraid to speak

The dust is now settled I am both imperfect and meek

I live to love unconditionally but sometimes misunderstood I will be

I wear my truth without regret so don't be afraid of the real me

I seek the counsel of God in the presence of self doubts

Yet I am still a work in progress so judge me not

I travel in comfortable shoes but it is divine intervention that guides me

I am full of gratitude and thanksgiving so I give beyond what I can see

I don't always expect external praise because it will not always be a faithful encourager to me

I am because faith washes away fear and lessons are birthed through the trail of my tears

In the absence of perfection I am still whole

So again whom shall I fear?

Great piece. Conquering a fear and realizing that it is nothing is always empowering.

Fear not, lest ye be feared ... (and some folks want to be!)
