Have a Post-It Note Wedding Reception

Weddings are a time where couples can show off their unique personalities in various ways. One really creative idea is using Post-It notes throughout your wedding décor. There are so many creative things you can do with Post-It notes if you really think about it.

For starters, brides can use all the help they can get when planning a wedding. Bride Ideas Sticky Notes will help any bride plan and organize her wedding. This is an excellent gift for the newly engaged. It will definitely help relieve some of the stresses of getting married by being organized! Mindy Weiss also has a great sticky note set that will help the newly engaged organize their wedding. Unforgettable Sticky Notes Booklet is a cute little book that fits in your purse that has a pen, sticky notes and sticky tabs that you can use to jot down ideas and tag ideas in wedding books.

For those bride and grooms that will be saying their own vows check out the To Do Tattoo. It's like a sticky note tattoo that you can put anywhere on your body and write down notes. So you can write down your vows on the palm of your hand so you don't forget what you want to say. This is a super cute idea!

Personalized sticky note holders make great gifts for your bridal party! It is something they can use everyday at work or at home. Every time a sticky note is used they will remember how much fun they had at your wedding. Custom made sticky note pads make great party favors and table decorations. Sticky notes in the shape of fruit can also make great party favors and table decorations. Table numbers and place cards can be made from sticky notes. You can also make table lamps with sticky notes as the shades. Sticky notes can be used as tags for appetizer plates and signature drinks to explain what is in the dish or beverage.

Wall murals made out of sticky notes in the reception make beautiful decorations. You could have a beautiful winter landscape made from sticky notes for a winter themed reception. Or have the headshots of the bride and groom made out of sticky notes done on the walls. Many famous faces have been made out of sticky notes such as Elvis and Marilyn Monroe. Search the Internet for sticky note artwork images or sticky note mosaic artwork to get some inspiration.

Wedding wishes for the couple are fun for the guests to do and for the couple to read later. Having sticky notes made that say "My wish for (bride's name) and (groom's name) is" and then your guests fill in the rest. Designate a wall in the reception area for your guests to post their sticky note filled with their wedding wishes to the happy couple. After the reception the sticky notes can be placed in the couples wedding scrapbook for them to cherish for years to come.

And last but not least, one of the funniest things I have seen is a car covered in sticky notes. I had seen this on a television show but I can't remember which show off hand. Friends of the bride and groom can decorate their car in sticky notes. Or if you fellas are looking for a creative way to propose why not decorate her car in sticky notes and ask her to marry you in sticky notes. This would be super cute for those couples that met while working in an office together.

Just remember, think outside the box. With ever step of your wedding planning think if there is a way to use a sticky note instead and you will come up with even more unique ideas that will make your guest "Take Note" of your wedding and reception!
