Have a Winnie-the-Pooh-Themed Day!

Nicki Mann
Having a theme day can help your family get through a cold or rainy day when nothing fun is going on. One great theme is Winnie the Pooh! Adults and kids alike can't help having a soft spot for Pooh and his friends. Here are some ideas for Pooh-themed activities everyone in your family can enjoy together!

1. Find out which Pooh character you are! Everyone in your family can take the 100 Acre Personality Test to find out which Pooh character they are most like. For younger children, or those with a low interest in this activity, a simpler test can be found here. Print out coloring pages of the Winnie the Pooh characters, and let each person color or paint "their" character. Sign your art work, and hang them up where everyone can see!

2. Rent a Winnie the Pooh movie. The library probably has plenty of them! Pop some popcorn, get cozy, and watch it together!

3. Do some bouncing to music! A great CD to look for is Tigger.Mania. It has lots of bouncy pop music with the words changed to Tigger themes! If you have an old mattress around, this would be a good time to drag it out, and let the kids jump on it to the music.

4. Play Pin The Tail On The Donkey... and use a large picture of Eeyore as the donkey!

5. Make a delicious snack with honey. One yummy snack idea is graham crackers with butter and honey on top!

Everyone loves Winnie the Pooh, so why not start planning your next Pooh-themed family day today?
