Have Winter Fun with Ground Hog Day

Brown food suggestions:
chocolate
beans
meats
brown rice
baked potatoes
peanut butter
pancakes/waffles
hash browns
brownies/chocolate cake
pears?
cookies
graham crackers
tacos
bread
pineapple
Brown decoration suggestions:
Furry brown fabric - cut a circle a place the woolly piece on everyone's head
leaves
silk flowers
sand/dirt
Use any brown dishes you may have - or lined baskets. Decorate plain paper or plastic cups or napkins in brown.
Iced tea, pop, chocolate milk or something tinted brown will make great theme soft drinks.
Perhaps half of the table could have little sunshine decorations - simple, of course - and half could have snowflakes or other wintry trinkets.
Make up a ground hog poem or silly joke.

It's ground hog day
And we will know
Six more weeks
Of warmth or snow.
