Today's God Calling speaks of heaven's riches gift: spiritual, mental, physical, joyful, powerful, abundant life. Perhaps it could better be said like this:

Spiritually abundant life- in which a higher consciousness and understanding comes to us. Ephesians 1:17

Mentallyabundant life- in which we increase our understanding of the concepts of thoughtfulness and mindfulness in regards to all, and increase our awareness of perception and proclamation (agreement, belief voiced)-it is by our words that we are justified or condemned. A life in which we become empowered to new thinking and new understanding,; developiing and increasing our capacity to master the art of "mind over matter by gaining new perspectives and perceptions. Jesus said our eye is the lamp of our body, and that out of the good stored up in our hearts, we would bring forth good-vs-bringing forth bad out of the bad or negative stored up. The Bible tells us to "be transformed " to the image of Christ by the renewal of our minds. It also tells us that we have the mind of Christ, which helps to keep ours in perfect peace-"for He has not given us a spirit of fear but of a sound mind." Did you know that the foolishness of God is wiser than the wisdom of men? Wow! Think of that in terms of having the mind of Christ! Solomon asked for wisdom and became the wisest man on earth.

Physically abundant life- in which we have health and wholeness, provision and plentitude; and the awareness of the "more than enough" in our lives. Jesus said not to worry about what we'll eat, drink or wear. "Seek first the Kingdom and all these things will be added unto you", he says.

Joyfully abundant life- in which we have an ever present joy abiding within and each day is one of gratitude, peace and joy; a celebration lived out.

Powerfully abundant life- in which all the spiritual, mental, physical and emotional aspects and facets come together in perfect unity and balance to create and sustain a powerful and dynamic being called "You" or "I" or "Me." It's all of us!

It is for all of us. Jesus offers this gift to everyone with arms wide open. It's yours for the asking. He said He'd cast none out who call on Him; turn away none who come to Him to be saved.

"Jesus, come into my heart and be my savior. I want to be your child. Take me, lead me, guide me, and teach me. Thank you for dying for me on Calvary and for forgiving my sins. From this day forward I am your child. Work your perfect will in my life. Amen"

It's as simple as praying that prayer. Then, your past is history. You're a new creation, you're set free from the old you, and heaven's greatest gift, that abundant life is yours. I said that prayer at the age of fourteen. I've been some places, seen and done some things. I've even done some things that I can be proud of. Saying that prayer is the best thing I've ever done. Not just for myself, but for the generations coming up after me-my children and grandchildren, for friends and loved ones-saved and unsaved. Praying that prayer is the best thing I've ever done for everyone I will encounter in my life, actually.
