Other Ways to Spend Your Money

Amy Kay
Hannah Montana has quickly become a worldwide icon. Parents of young fans are clamoring to buy their children Hannah Montana concert tickets. There have been contests, auctions, and cat-fights all in attempt to gain possession of these coveted tickets. The average asking price on Ebay for Hannah Montana tickets is $3000. It may seem like a good idea to spend a few grand to send your child to a Hannah Montana concert, but I want you to be able to weigh your options. There are endless ways to spend $3000. In case you are having trouble trying to think of better ways to spend $3000, I've compiled a list of ideas for you to take into consideration.

Put the money in a college savings fund-
Your child will thank you one day when she doesn't have to work as a stripper to pay her whole way through college. By the time she's heading off to school her musical tastes will have matured and she will have forgotten all about that time her mother didn't get her Hannah Montana tickets.

Fly the family to Hawaii-
Hawaii has a lot to offer and it makes for a great family vacation. Hannah Montana can't compete with gorgeous beaches and majestic volcanoes. Buy 4 plane tickets and create some memories that will last a lifetime.

Get your child braces-
A beautiful smile can last forever. A Hannah Montana concert lasts about 2 hours.

Buy 300 Hannah Montana CDs-
Give one Hannah Montana CD to your daughter and donate the other 299 to children in need. Feel good about the fact that you are spreading the gloriousness of Hannah Montana to children who would never cry and tell you that they hate you because you didn't get them Hannah Montana tickets.

Buy your child a 1996 Honda Civic-
She may not be able to drive for another 8 years, but a car always makes a great gift. Sure, all of her other friends may have gone to the Hannah Montana concert, but she'll be the only kid on the block with a Sedan.

Rent circus performers and throw a party-
Ilan the Robotic Man retails at around $500 an hour. Toss in some fire-eaters, some acrobats, and a few dozen pizzas and you got yourself one awesome party. Hannah Montana tickets won't even compare.
