Hawaii's Football Team Gets Hosed
How Come the Only Undefeated Team in College Football Isn't Playing for the National Title?
It seems that the voters and computer polls in College Football have this sport rigged. There is no consistency in the way that teams rise and fall in the rankings week after week. Michigan loses it's opener to Appalachian St. who is a very good team and they drop more than 20 spots in the polls. USC loses to Stanford (which was a bigger underdog than Appalachian State) and they don't even drop out of the Top Ten. Oklahoma loses to a horrible Colorado team and they drop a few spots and stay in the top ten.
There needs to be a better system in College Football. Hawaii should be in the National Title game. They are the only undefeated team in College Football and they do have signature wins against Boise State, and Washington. Hawaii's schedule was as tough as Ohio State's which was suspect at best. The way that the college football system is set up is to prevent situations like what happened to Auburn a few years ago.
The upside is that Hawaii is in a BCS Bowl and they will get the chance to crush Georgia. If you haven't had a chance to watch Hawaii play this season then you will get your chance when they play Georgia. Colt Brennen is an elite quarterback that has multiple star receivers with speed.
Hopefully next year college football can get this system fixed.

YOU'RE AN IDIOT. GEORGIA WILL WIN THIS GAME EASILY.

Arguments about strength of schedule are absolute BS and I wonder if the people who make that argument are actually paying attention to the season. Just an FYI, tops teams have been beaten by trash teams and unranked teams all year long. College Football is full of parody. Do you think USC is REALLY that much better than Hawaii? Get real. USC got beat by Stanford. 'Nough said. What, you think Georgia is for real? HA! Georgia is a fluke every year. Ohio State is a joke, too. They got blown off of the field in last year's title game, and this current team is certainly not better than last year. For God's sake, they got beat by Illinois! Not only do I think Hawaii will whip Georgia, but I think Hawaii if given the chance could beat #1 or #2 since neither are really that good. The BCS crumbled again this year. The BCS looks foolish again, and it's just more proof that we need a playoff system. Hell, if there was a playoff, I'd put my money on Arkansas. After all, they beat one of the undes
The reason hawaii isn't in the Championship is because your argument that they should be is dependent on a win over Washington, a team that went 4 - 9 and finished LAST in a Pac-10 that wasn't even as good as expected. Ohio State played several teams better than that, so did LSU and USC played 8 teams better than Washington, they're called the entire Pac-10.
