This weekend the Hayloft in Mt. Clemens, Michigan will be presenting their annual X-Fest music festival.

The festival runs Friday, August 21 through Sunday, August 23. The festival will be running all day with the main acts starting at 7pm all three days. Tickets for the shows are $10 per day.

The Hayloft will feature two big stages with more than 60 bands playing. Most of the bands will be local acts but there are some national acts thrown in as well.

Friday night Smile Empty Soul will be the headliner. The alternative group hailing from Santa Clarita, California is on the F.O.F./EMI label and have released four albums. Their latest is the album Consciousness.

Saturday night is being headlined by hometown favorite rap/rock group Critical Bill. The group is a regular at the Hayloft with guitarist Mike Scott being part owner of the club.

The band is getting ready to release a new cd and has a reputation for being a can't miss live act. Saturday will also feature a performance from local up and coming rock group StellarDrive.

Sunday will be headlined by Nashville, Tennessee's Alternative/Grunge group Framing Hanley. The group is currently touring in support of their latest album The Moment.

Framing Hanley will be joined by Flint, Michigan's own Crop Circle. With music that hits just about every genre, Crop Circle should put on a great show.

The Hayloft is located at 140 N Main Street in Downtown Mt. Clemens.
