HBO Documentary "The UCLA Dynasty" Will Re-Air in July

An HBO documentary titled "The UCLA Dynasty" tells the story of the UCLA basketball team's rise to greatness with the background of the turbulent times of the 1960's. Legendary coach John Wooden led the team to ten NCAA championships shattering all records.

The documentary's synopsis on the HBO website states, "Capturing the spirit of the era through the comments of former team members, students, commentators, and coach Wooden himself, along with archival footage, The UCLA Dynasty sheds light on the advent of the college basketball craze. The UCLA juggernaut triggered unprecedented national interest in the sport and the NCAA tournament grew at a pace never before seen."

The documentary will air on HBO during July and can be purchased on DVD for $19.98.
