Is He admiring all the beautiful clothes you have on; that you took such measures to find?
It's nice to have a new outfit to wear and the children all dressed just so.
They're all ready to hunt Easter eggs but there is a lot more they need to know.
Children need to have fun, that's true, but later there's another part of Easter they need to understand.
The story of Jesus' birth, death and resurrection is not a fairytale written by some man's hand.
Most of us know the story of how God made this earth.
How He created all creatures and man.
If this story has grown dim in your memory pick up your Bible turn to Genesis one and read it again.
God created Adam to be His friend and companion and Eve to be Adam's wife.
There in the Garden of Eden they were to live a perfect and happy life.
Then satan entered with a temptation Eve did not choose to resist.
She and Adam disobeyed God and their life took a new twist.
Sin had now entered the world but God had a redemption plan.
He would send His own Son born of a virgin girl; to be the final sacrifice and Savior for man.
A lot of years have passed since the creation of Adam and the birth, death and resurrection of Jesus but God and His Son will always remain the same.
God is still saddened by His children's disobedience but He offers forgiveness and resurrection in Jesus name.
When Easter comes each year wear your prettiest clothes and dress the children just so; but remember what it's really about.
God wants His children to have the best but He's looking from the inside out.
