He Inspires Me

I can see the shadow of a man;
Walking on the water;
He motions me to come;
I am so happy to see Him;
My heart is filled with so much joy;
I can see his dark brown hair;
Lifted off of His shoulders;
By the violent wind;
He pays it no mind;
His piercing eyes are focused;
As He looks in my direction;
He has taught me so much;
I want Him to be with me;
Every second of the day;
To hear His tender words;
Whispered into my soul;
His Heart so full of love;
I step out of the boat;
Outside of my comfort zone;
He has shown me wonders;
That I have never seen before;
He inspires me to imitate Him;
To overcome my human limitations;
And focus solely on God;
I can see His outstretched hands;
As I walk with shaky legs;
Desperately trying very hard;
To hold onto my faith;
That will keep me from sinking into the water;
Yet somehow always knowing;
That He will be there to pull me out.
