He Says" I Am Not Worth $50000"

There are individuals who always take a cheerful and calm view of life. They are not at all rattled by the problems which shake the ordinary individual to the bones. There is one such person who fits into this category of great good humor men. He laughs and lives to laugh making many others laugh. He takes things easy. Let us consider one incident from his life.

This gentleman KP went for a medical check up. On thorough examination he was asked to undergo an ECG. Detailed examination revealed he had two blocks in the artery. The cardiologist advised him to undergo a bypass surgery. When he heard this he gave out his instantaneous reaction like this.
" I am not worth $ 50000 (which was the cost of surgery in the local specialty hospital at that time).

He lived without surgery for 15 years . He changed his life style and diet habits.Later under compulsion from his children he underwent a bypass surgery. He is still alive. What we appreciate is this man's calmness of mind which took him safely for fifteen years. He never panicked . This is an important lesson for all.
