Family Fun for All Ages as the Best Rodeo Riders in North America Compete for Top Honors

Rodeo fans and newcomers to the sport alike will be treated to three days of bronco busting, roping bull riding and all the excitement that man versus animal can generate. These are professional cowboys and cowgirls at their finest, vying for a total purse of $350,000. Only the top 15 of the cowboys/cowgirls from the U.S. and Canadian circuits will be competing for top honors. Other participants will also be providing rodeo events for the viewing pleasure of attendees.
The Miss Rodeo USA Pageant will have events each day, with the winner crowned on the 18th of January.
Ticket prices for the events range from $15-25 per person per performance, or a $100 ticket per person per performance. There will be two performances on Saturday, January 17, 2008. January 17th is also Kids Day at the rodeo, and all Kids Day activities are free of charge, beginning at 11AM.

The Oklahoma State Fair Park located at NW 10th and May in Oklahoma City is one of the country's busiest places, and is Oklahoma's designation as "Horse Show Capital of the World" is due in large part to the many rodeos and horse shows held there.

I'll never forget my first rodeo. It came time for the Star Spangled Banner and here comes a recording of Elvis singing the national anthem over the loudspeaker system!
