So far, I must say that the Head and Shoulders Smooth and Silky system does not disappoint. While I do have to clarify my hair often due to the excess product, I attest that more to using the 2 in 1 plus the regular conditioner. The Smooth and Silky products have left my hair much more manageable then I would normally expect during the winter, as well as taking care of most of the "winter itch". I say most only because my hair is so thick its hard for any shampoo or conditioner to really get to the scalp.
I must admit, I had always heard horrible things about Head and Shoulders products. I have never before used any of the Head and Shoulders product lines, as there has never been a percieved need to do so. Dandruff or itchy scalp had never been a problem for me, excluding "winter itch" most years. Usually I have more of a problem of accumulating product buildup and not being able to get rid of it. So far the Head and Shoulders Smooth and Silky line has not added any product buildup problems, the only complaint I have is that after a few days it will make my hair greasy, but as I said before, I think that has more to do with the excess conditioner from using the 2 in 1 instead of regular shampoo. Its a relatively quick fix, and one already on my hair care schedule.
I would recommend Head and Shoulders Smooth and Silky system to just about anyone, especially for those dry winter months. There is no need to have dandruff before adding the Smooth and Silky system to your hair care routine. Be warned that your local Head and Shoulders retailer may be out of this product, as mine has been. It seems to be a hot seller.
