Headless Woman Halloween Costume: A Clever DIY Outfit

Stephanie
With Halloween around the corner, who wants the same costumes as anyone else? Try to be original this year! Here I'm going to give simple ways to make a DIY costume of a headless woman! Sound impossible? Read on, and you'll have the best costume at the party!

First and foremost, find an old antique dress you wouldn't mind cutting up and getting blood all over! In the bust of the dress, cut a hole, just big enough for your head to go through. Keep in mind, you may need to invest in a longer type dress. Since you're going to be in the dress starting at the bust, it may be a little short on most people. Test it out, and be sure it looks okay. Cut a hole for your arm in the side, so you'll have a free arm to do as you wish. After that is out of the way, buy some Styrofoam to form a woman bust replica.

Keep in mind to end at the neck. This custom is going to be headless! After you have your bust complete start working on an arm that will hold your head to give it a headless look! Once completed, search for straps of any kind that you can put on your shoulders to hold the bust in place. Make sure its comfortable! After you have all of this complete, start decorating your dress. Invest in some fake blood to give it a good effect! Be sure to add some blood to your bust's neck which will be exposed.

After everything is done, its time to focus on what your head will look like! Add some fake blood on your neck to make sure everything ties together. Put your hair up in a bun with a few loose pieces around your face. Make sure to invest in some loose white powder to give it a grave like feel, dark under the eyes and etc. Try everything on to make sure everything looks correct. Keep adding and taking away anything you need to make a great effect of a headless woman.

Halloween is a time for treats and fun! Don't forget this Halloween by blending into the crowd! Show up in something scary and truly memorable. Show your friends how creative you are this year by creating this memorable costume! Have fun this year! Have a safe and happy Halloween!
