Healing

A Year of Poems: Day Three Hundred and Fifty-Three

Diane Zoller-Ciatto
Feelings of dejection
When you have been hurt
Hiding all your feelings
By becoming an introvert!

But life does go on
And hurt can be healed
Although you tread lightly
Like going through a minefield!

But once you learn
That you can trust once more
Your heart will open up
As you let love through the door!

That is a haunting picture, my friend. Let the words of encouragement help us all to rise above such sadness.
