Ranked among super fruits such as blueberries, grapefruit and raspberries, pomegranates are quickly becoming a go-to fruit in many households across the country. And with health benefits such as anti-cancer, anti-diarrhea and anti-inflammatory, it's no wonder why.
One of the health benefits of pomegranates is that they may help to reduce the risk of developing cancer. The build up of plaque in your arteries will lead to atherosclerosis and/or heart attacks. So drink pomegranate juice or eat pomegranates for a healthy heart. Moreover, pomegranates are good for the heart as they could help to improve the amount of oxygen getting to the heart muscles of people with coronary heart disease.
Conventionally, pomegranate juice has been used to treat diarrhea. So drinking a cup of pomegranate juice can help to alleviate the occurrence of mild diarrhea. Another health benefit of pomegranate juice that is newly emerging is that pomegranate juice may help fight erectile dysfunction. According to the Journal of Urology, July 2005, researchers suggest that prolonged consumption of pomegranate juice may help combat erectile dysfunction. So you can add pomegranates to the list of super fruits against erectile dysfunction.

But all in all, pomegranate juice is very good for you. drinking a glass or two of pomegranate juice a day can significantly increase your chance of living a healthy and productive life.
