There are many pros to health with just a few cons. In every issue of "Health" magazine there are the following interesting pieces. The "healthy day planner" is the first. The page is layed out like a clock with six to eight healthy options from morning until bed. The options are interesting due to their variety from food, to skincare, to fitness options up to fashion ideas to help take pounds off. What makes this page so nice is that it is like looking a picture book. Basically there is a lot of information without a lot of reading.
The second item that is in every issue of "Health" that is definitely appealing is "My Health Secret". This page is one in which celebrities talk about their best and worst health habits. It is a nice change to see that celebrities like us have weaknesses and have to work at being healthy like the rest of us.
Each month Health breaks down their magazine into different categories to be sure you are getting a bit of everything. From healthy beauty, healthy shape, healthy inside, healthy life, and healthy eating. As you can see by the names of these sub-sections you can learn more about just every aspect of life. Being healthy is not just about what you eat and what exercise you partake in. It is about feeling good about yourself and treating all of your body right including your mind.
Healthy beauty is usually full of fashion and skincare advice. Healthy shape generally is about certain changes for your particular shape body. Healthy life is about ways to change your home and habits to be healthy. Healthy eating is what it says! Ideas for good for your meals and snacks.
Each month in addition to the normal offerings," Health" finds new and creative topics to write about. In the November 2009 issue for example there is the "Health Alert! 4 Symptoms You Must Never Ignore". This enlightening article was eye opening to me and made me more aware to symptoms that might alert me to dangerous health concerns.
Perhaps the biggest downfall with Health magazine is that there are more advertisements, especially full page ones in this magazine than most others. There are however plenty of pages without ads and quite a bit of useful information so this is not a major problem.
The only other problem is that "Health" is not offered in all drugstores.
If you are looking for a magazine with more information than simply what exercise you can do to lose belly flab then this is the one for you. While it will offer you those articles it will also offer you much, much more.
