Health Valley Organic Bruschetta Vegetable Multi-Grain Crackers Review
Health Valley Now Has Organic Crackers, Too!
Health Valley Organic Bruschetta Vegetable Multi-Grain Crackers Review ( Price Comparison )
One of my favorite grocery stores to shop is Wegmans, because of its growing organic section. Health Magazine likes them too, recently doing a short article, " Wegmans: The Next Whole Foods? " Though, I'd like to see the entire food industry embrace the organic ideal, in the meantime I appreciate the effort Wegmans puts into stocking various makers of organic crackers.
At Wegmans, Health Valley Organic Bruschetta Vegetable Multi-Grain Crackers are $2.99 for a 6-ounce box. A similarly priced yet smaller 5-ounce box of Late July Organic Bite Size Cheddar Cheese Crackers are also $2.99.
Health Valley Organic Bruschetta Vegetable Multi-Grain Crackers Review ( Ingredients and Taste )
Bruschetta is an Italian appetizer or snack, basically consisting of thin bread that's been grilled, rubbed with garlic and topped with olive, salt and pepper, and maybe a couple of vegetables.
Close to original appetizer form, Health Valley Organic Bruschetta Vegetable Multi-Grain Crackers are made with organic granulated garlic, organic granulated tomatoes and organic red bell peppers. However, rather than using olive oil, it's made with sunflower, safflower, soybean and/or canola. But to Health Valley's credit, the oils are organic and expeller pressed rather than solvent extracted.
It seems I was the only one in my family enthused about the taste of Health Valley Organic Bruschetta Vegetable Multi-Grain Crackers. I thought my wife would have been more enthused about them; I did more or less buy them for her. She's more into foods like Bruschetta and the like. But she may have tried one or two crackers at the most and never reached for them again.
Neither did the great cracker eater of the house, our little toddler, get too interested in these organic bruschetta crackers. I, too, was hoping they would have had more of a vegetable taste and less dry-if you can actually get away with saying a cracker could have been "less dry!"
Health Valley Organic Bruschetta Vegetable Multi-Grain Crackers Review ( Conclusion )
All in all, Health Valley Organic Bruschetta Vegetable Multi-Grain Cracker crumbles this way: It's not a bad cracker, particularly as it relates to its lower price than other organic crackers.
The cracker will taste better if Health Valley uses only one or two grains, makes it less dry by using a little more oil-even using and highlighting on the box and in marketing "it's made with olive oil like original bruschetta snacks," and adds more vegetables to it, making the vegetable taste stand out more.
