1. With the holidays upon us the stress is probably already starting to show. For me August and September are birthday months then of course we go into what seems like the next four months dealing with festivities. It is easy to get yourself run down during that time and Tempur-Pedic interviews Dr. David Fidler on how to relieve your stress for the holidays.
Tempur-Pedic: Relieving stress during the holidays.
2. H1N1 is all over twitter and on the news; you can not head anyplace or look at anything it seems without coming across something on the Swine Flu. My mother recently contracted the H1N1 virus and it's a very important reminder about how important it is to know what kinds of viruses are going around, especially if you have young children. It's very easy to just change the channel or the station. This podcast, Dr. Melanie Swift tells us how we can spot whether or not we have it, how it spreads, and what we can do if we are exposed.

3. I gave up the country life for a life in the big city. I live in a community that is very nice but I have a little spot in the backyard which can hardly be called a backyard. I noticed the other day that my neighbor is growing tomatoes and I got to looking around for a podcast on how to make a garden even when you live in a city. Let's face it, veggies and fruits are expensive. I do not buy as much as I would at the store because of the price. I think there are lots of people that are in the same boat. Valerie Block gives us hints on how to grow an urban garden with tomatoes, peppers, herbs, and much more.
Holistic Health and Wellness Episode 32: Grow your own...even in NYC.
4. Who are you? What do you want out of life? How do we take care of ourselves? What do we do if life gives us lemons? If your in need of some personal growth or just some much needed wisdom you can get all of that and then some in Metamorphosis at digital podcast. There are 208 episodes of advice and wisdom to get you on the right path of transformation.
5. My daughter has ADHD and we do what we can to be very structured for her because those with ADHD need it. It's not easy when your child is diagnosed with ADHD or Autism and you have to certainly learn a whole knew way of doing things. The doctors tell you, structure, structure, structure until your so tired of hearing it. Sometimes you will feel that you are doing enough and have enough structure in place. This is a wonderful 3 part podcast by Leslie who talks about structure. Whether you're an adult with ADHD or a parent with a child who has ADHD this is a good podcast that looks at structure and how you might build your own.
