The problem however does reach much deeper than the surface of the FDA. It also lives in the health insurance companies.When Presidential candidate Hilliary Clinton proposed a true universal health care system back when her Husband Bill Clinton was President Insurance companies quickly started the check writing to politicians in Washington and the plan quickly disappeared before it even broke ground. But why would Insurance companies be afraid of universal health care a plan that would seemingly benefit health care companies in the U.S. Well its because its no secret that our nations policies on health care are ever so slanted toward enriching the corporations witch usually is at the expense of the people of this nation with no regards to the fall-out.
I would like to take you back in time for a brief period we all know about the French Revolution that lasted from 1789 to 1799. We all know the cause of this revolution and that was the King monopolized power over the people and the rich and the royalty were much rewarded at the expense of the people. The bourgeoisie overthrew the Old Regime because that regime had given power and privilege to other classes the nobility and the clergy who prevented the bourgeoisie from advancing socially and politically.{{Encarta.msn.com}} There is much more to this but the reason I'm talking about this is because the same is going on again today here in America with the Politicians and the Health care corporations of America, were the power of the Government gives power and privilege to the insurance companies and corporations of America and is doing it at the expense of the American people, more so the poor or middle class American people.
A situation I know about locally to me about a family that wishes to remain anonymous I had a chance to speak with about there current health care issues. This is what I was told during my visit to there home.
Rebecca: I like to ask you about your situation currently regarding your health ?
Wife: Well recently I went to my doctor about a issue I have had about my period now lasting 3 months long, He did some blood test and other test and came back and told me he would like to refer me to a specialist to do a test called a DNC that he couldn't do at his clinic because this is a small town and we don't have the resources at our clinic for those kind of test.
Rebecca: I liked to ask why it took 3 months for you to go to the doctor on this issue ?
Wife: Doctor visits are expensive and the insurance I have through my employer often doesn't pay the price after I have paid the co-pay witch is 30 dollars then if they don't pay I receive a bill for all the work done that they didn't pay for or I receive a bill for the total amount because they didn't pay any of it.
Rebecca: Witch Insurance is this ?
Wife: Blue Cross Blue Shield.
Rebecca: Did you call them or try at all to find out why they don't pay after you have paid the co-pay on a regular doctor visit.
Wife: yes and first time I was told it wasn't pre-approved. Next time After it had been pre-approved they wouldn't give me a direct answer they actually told me It was a matter I had to take up with my Employer
Rebecca: Amazing, Well I do surely thank you for this interview and your time ,God Bless.
I couldn't finish this interview because the wife had asked to stop and didn't want to talk much more about this situation. I was astonished at what I heard. A women who actually had insurance, and the Insurance Company wasn't paying for her visits after the co-pay. So I decided to look into other companies to see if there were other cases like this Nice Womens. What I found was In Atlanta, Todd Robinson's 7-year-old son Bailey had a rare genetic disorder that affects the brain. Called adrenoleukodystrophy,His insurance company denied $200,000 in valid claims for his son, who died in 2005, Robinson said. "I don't make a lot of money" and there was "no way I could pay $200,000 out of my pocket," he said, according to CNN reports. It turns out they didn't have to. {{allheadlinenews.com/articles/7007952196}}This report goes on to tell how the Robinson's actually fought and got their claims overturned,After of course his son died because the Insurance company refused to pay for his sons treatment.
What I ask to the Insurance companies across the nation is, Were is the line drawn ? How far are you willing to go and continue to let American people and children die in order to put and extra dollar in your pocket ? In Canada and Germany a person of citizenship for there country can go to the doctor and most cases is NO CHARGE. Imagine that, and Germany as a matter of fact has a cashier window, Not to charge patients but to refund their money if they had to use a bus or any other form of public transportation because they didn't have any other way to get to the doctor. A house call doctor is on call 24 hours a day to even go to patients homes when they are to ill to make it to the hospital or clinic. So I ask Whats the difference in America ? The answer is Money and until we get past that issue of wanting to get richer and richer and richer innocent American people will continue to die because of this corruption. I only hope we learn this before it is to late. Thanks for reading and remember to check back for follow ups to this article on other cases brought Public.problem with the FDA's unpredictable approval pattern is the outrageous cost of the cancer drugs that actually make it to market.Back in August 2003, Life Extension wrote about phenoxodiol, a drug that appeared effective in treating ovarian and other cancers. Ovarian cancer kills more than 15,000 women each year in the US alone..In May 2003, an announcement emanating from the Yale University School of Medicine stated that phenoxodiol induced 100% cell death in ovarian cancer cell lines, including those cells resistant to chemotherapy drugs such as Taxol® and carboplatin.4 While a number of studies of phenoxodiol are currently underway, it remains unapproved.{{http://www.inteliorg.com/archive/Life_Saving_Cancer_Drugs_Rejected_by_the_FDA.htm}}With this kind of drug that could save lives across the nation who are the ones who play God and decide who lives and dies by rejected a documented drug such as phenoxodiol. The answer is the FDA. {{http://www.inteliorg.com/archive/Life_Saving_Cancer_Drugs_Rejected_by_the_FDA.htm}}The FDA has denied approval for documented efficient cancer drugs on numerous occasions.{{http://www.inteliorg.com/archive/Life_Saving_Cancer_Drugs_Rejected_by_the_FDA.htm}}
