Healthcare Costs and Taxes

Individuals should pay for their own medical insurance:

Businesses should not have to pay for medical insurance. When a businesses paying for medical insurance it is simply taking money that would otherwise go towards an employee's salary and using it to pay for that employee's health benefits. This is the main point to be recognized.

When centralized bureaucracies try to force businesses to pay exorbitant health costs what happens is that the businesses close down, hire less employees, or move to another country. This is a reality of the situation. You don't get something for nothing. We have to take both parties into account, the employers and employees. The employers are the ones creating the jobs. When you attack the employers by making them pay enormous health-care costs you attack the employees.

Health-care costs to be paid for by the wage earners themselves. Then they can use their money to shop for the best deal for them. This creates increased competition and an improvement in the quality and price of services.

Any form of centralized obstruction of the free market system is doomed to failure. Forcing companies to use resources for a social program whether it be public or private is no different than socialism. Socialism is a failure. Just look at France, their unemployment rate is hovering above 10%. If the United States institutes socialist health-care laws what you'll witness is a similar result. Let the companies and the free market system decide their own business and let individual people make their own health care choices.

No more taxes:

Lower taxes do increase economic prosperity. When you lower taxes you allow people to keep more of what they earn. This in turn causes people to spend or invest their newfound money in productive ways. This keeps the economic cycle going. When people are overtaxed they have less money to spend and less money to invest in business endeavors.

Socialism, or extreme government taxation has been proven to be a failure. Most of us are well aware that the government is not as efficient as the private sector. The more power and control and tax money that you give to the system the more inefficient it gets. Furthermore, you don't get something for nothing. Social programs must be paid for by increasing taxes. This tax money would be better spent by private individuals taking responsibly for their own lives and their own neighborhoods.

In the United States there is a tax that is unconstitutional. This tax is called the income tax. Adding more taxes to an already unconstitutional tax is a recipe for disaster. The free market should decide economic viability, not a few government bureaucrats. The power to tax is the power to destroy. Civilians should not give away this power so eagerly.
