Ideally you can eat small portions to satisfy your cravings than eating 3 xs in a day of huge servings of food. Avoid skipping meals because that would make you more starve and eat a lot on the next meal. Keep track of your intake; make it a point to eat small portions every 4 hours because that's when our blood sugar get low and when it happens, the more likely we tend to eat too much, just to satisfy our hunger.
Say goodbye to cigarette!

Smoking is the No.1 preventable cause of death. But, it can be avoided and it's just matter of having the motivation to quit. Best is to count how much you'd be saving if you quit and motivate yourself by means of rewards; or use that money you'd be saving to buy something that you long dream to get for yourself.
Making a New Year's resolution is so easy for anybody but, it's the commitment that counts. Keep focus and be determined. Make your goals achievable or realistic and commit to it. Think of the long-term benefits that your health will gain from what you will be doing.
