Healthy Chili

1 lb of lean hamburger
2 approx. 12 oz cans each stewed and diced tomatoes
one packet chili mix
1 tsp Texas Pete's hot sauce or equivalent
onion powder, chili powder, accent, garlic, to taste or about 1tsp
half an onion, chopped
half a green pepper, chopped

spaghetti or macaroni noodles

In a big saucepan cook hamburger meat, onions, and green pepper until meat is browned and onions and bell peppers are soft drain and rinse with hot water to rid it of excess grease. put the meat back into the sauce pan. Empty the one packet of chili mix into the meat. Pour in stewed and diced tomatoes, do not drain the tomatoes, you will need the juices. Stir. Add hot sauce, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and accent to taste. Stir thoroughly. Bring to a boil water for noodles cook as instructions say. Bring chili to boil, then down to a simmer for about ten minutes, stirring occasionally. pour over noodles and enjoy!
