Low Sodium High Protein Unique Excellent Taste Healthy Dinner Bargain
The Healthy Choice lemon pepper fish exceeded my expectations! The fish was full of flavor, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, flaky to the touch of a fork. The bready was super delicious, and very spicy. I assume the spicy comes in from the amount of black pepper used. healthy Choice describes this meal as "Breaded white fish on a bed of rice pilaf, broccoli florets, and caramel apple." The rice is actually crisp give this high-fiber meal a distinct taste. The rice is actually brown whole grain rice and it was very flavorful. The broccoli was as expected and the caramel apple crisp was good, but nothing to wow about. Personally, I would prefer no caramel apple crisp and more of any of the other ingredients. But, this is marketed as a "complete" meal so they include the sweet dessert. Maybe Healthy Choice will reconsider the packaging of the caramel apple crisp and instead market this as one of their all natural dinners. The downside to the apple crisp is the sugar content it adds to this low sodium meal. The Healthy Choice Lemon Pepper Fish meal has 15 grams of sugar and if this sugar content was knocked down considerably, this healthy choice meal could also be a healthy choice for people with diabetes or borderline diabetes or people jyst watching their glucose intake.
This Healthy Choice Lemon Pepper Fish was very low calorie! Only 310 calories for the complete meal! It has zero trans fat, 14 grams of protein, and only 450 mg of sodium for the complete meal. This Healthy Choice Lemon Pepper Fish frozen dinner is indeed a low sodium healthy choice meal and a fantastic deal. You can go to the Healthy Choice web site and print off a couple of coupons if you want to try this Healthy and tasty meal deal. This is probably the best frozen fish T.V. dinner I have ever tasted. Unlike many bland frozen fish dinners, this Healthy Choice Lemon Pepper fish hits the mark for excellent taste, filling meal, and only 5 grams of fat, a nice low fat meal.
If you are dieting and on weight watchers, this counts as 6 weight watchers points.
If anyone in your household is dieting and watching their sodium content, then this Healthy Choice Lemon Pepper fish is just the ticket to a healthy low salt meal.
