At Healthy Dining Finder, you type in your location that you are looking for, and it finds the healthy dining options in your area. Healthy Dining Finder will even let you narrow your search by price ranges that you are looking for. Healthy Dining Finder also lists the healthy meals that offered at each restaurant in your area. This is a great tool to use to help you find healthy dining options whether you are at home or on vacation.
I always try to eat healthy, and when I dine out I try and choose the healthier options. Luckily for me on the Oregon Coast there are quite a few healthy dining options. These are my favorite healthy dining out options.
Cafe Mediterranean This restaurant is so yummy. They have excellent traditional Mediterranean food. Most of their food is also fairly healthy. Mediterranean food always has a tendency to be healthy with many vegetarian options. I often go here for lunch and just get a bowl of lentil soup, and hummus with pita bread. They also have shorba which is a great low carb option. Shorba is a chicken soup, and if you add a side of basmati rice you have a Delicious healthy meal.
Sapphires Mongolian BBQ Mongolian BBQ's are restaurants where you go to a salad bar type area choose your vegetables and your meats, then your choose your sauce. You then take your bowl over to the grill and the cook grills your meal right in front of you. I love Sapphires as a healthy dining option because you choose exactly what goes into your food. I love it because I get to choose all my favorite vegetables, and I add tons of them. Then you can top it off with a small amount of lean meat. It's nice watching my food being made because I can see exactly what is going in to it. After leaving sapphires I always feel full and satisfied with out feeling sluggish from eating the wrong types of food.
Colettes Crepes While not everything they have here is healthy, they do have a lot of healthy options, and if you feel like splurging there are a lot of really yummy options. There crepes are great healthy options because they aren't fried and a usually low in fat. For dessert you can ask for a crepe with fruit only with the sugar left out. Any restaurant that has healthy dessert is a favorite of mine.
I love to eat at these healthier options because I can eat more without feeling guilty. I notice then when I eat healthier I don't leave the restaurant feeling sluggish. I think its so important to remember that just because you are trying to stay healthy, that you can still dine out.
