After the decadent dishes of the holidays, many individuals will probably have making more healthy selections for meals as one of their New Year's resolutions. Due to the fact that most people's lives are incredibly busy and leave little time for making elaborate healthy meals, delicious, easy-to-make, health-strengthening recipes are ideal choices. For a quick and easy healthy lunch idea, check out the salad recipe below.

Healthy, Hearty Vegetable and Grape Tossed Salad
1 head of organic romaine lettuce, chopped
3 organic carrots, chopped
1 head of organic broccoli, chopped
10 organic cherry tomatoes, cut into halves
10-12 organic grapes, halved
1 small can of black olives, drained (sliced or whole olives can be used depending on one's preference)
1 organic sweet red pepper, chopped
1 4 oz. container of feta cheese, crumbled
1 bottle of your favorite organic dressing

Wash and prepare the vegetables and grapes. Chop the lettuce and place it into a large bowl. Add the carrots, broccoli, red pepper, and tomatoes. Add the grapes. Drain the olives and add them to the salad. Sprinkle the feta cheese over the salad if desired. Serve with your favorite organic dressing. An Italian, Greek, or balsamic vinaigrette dressing goes well with this salad.
