Healthy Home: Removing Negative Energy Clutter

Shan-Lyn Forsythe

Are you beginning to feel uncomfortable in your home? Feel like that nice ambiance you use to sense at one time just isn't there anymore? Cleaning your home of unnecessary items may refresh your environment and give you a healthier perspective.

If you're an item collector, you may want to rethink on how long you want to keep certain household items around. Not only are they dust collectors, but they're also energy collectors.

Three areas to consider: psychological association; uncomfortable thought/spiritual energies; and just a plain filthy environment.

Psychological Association

We tend to collect items over time from people or places we've visited to adorn our homes of memories. If the positive memories last, so much the better, however, we all know too well the old adage, "All things don't last forever" and that may include how we feel about events we've experienced with people or places in the past. If items in your home have you feeling low-spirited or even depressed, maybe it's time to cut the ties and build your psychological repertoire with new and positive memories. Move on with your life.

Uncomfortable Spiritual Energies

In the world of spiritual sciences, it's been proven by physics that objects have energy. It's also been proven that "thought" is energy. For that fact, everything has energy and energy can travel from one object to another via by gravitation and electromagnetism; whether animate to inanimate or vice versa.

Objects can collect unpleasant thought and spiritual energy. If negative events have happened in your home, you can be certain that the energies have latched onto the objects.

It's important to keep a healthy 'thought and spiritual atmosphere' in your home. Otherwise, the consequences of being haunted by your own unsettled behavior and that of others, may come back to haunt you. Call it karma in the present, but having to live with the echoes of negative energy in your home will just create more compounding negative energy if you can't break free from what your home items are holding.

Filthy Environment

Needless to mention, objects collect filth such as dust, mites and other various lured parasites. A clean home gives a sense of general well-being. Breathing in toxic filth every day, does not help the brain to perceive positively and optimistically; and again, an unhealthy thought environment will only compound into a bombardment of negative waves which you don't need.

Get rid of old items like paperback books, mail delivery letters (especially bills that have been paid off), furry little knick-knacks and whatever else that you would normally not even have the patience to clean, because it's just not worth the effort. If you can move a quarter inch of dust off your cute little piece of memorabilia, then you don't need it.

Removing items that especially give you an ill feeling, reminding you of past negative events, will definitely boost your morale.

Save yourself the time and energy and remove items in some dusty disarray that will eventually depress you. Keep things simple and easy to clean without too much taxation on your patience.

In all, a healthy home equates to healthy energies in all strata of your life, whether spiritual, mind, or body.
