Serves 4
12 Triscuits (or other whole grain cracker)
6 slices of turkey from the deli
2 oz. of low fat cheddar cheese, shredded

Directions for Healthy Labor Day Picnic Appetizers - Turkey Melts

Top each Triscuit with a piece of turkey, folded, and some shredded cheese. Broil until the cheese is melted (less than five minutes). Each Melt is about 40 calories of tasty cheesiness, plus the Triscuits are a good source of whole grains for your diet.
