Healthy Snacking Ideas

There are a lot of ways to enjoy low-fat snacks in your diet. In this article, I am going to suggest several ideas so that you can enjoy great snacks without tons of calories and fats.

1. Try raw vegetables with some salsa or bean dip

2. Low-fat Healthy Choice popcorn makes a great snack. Have a batch prepared before starting your day to take with you.

3. Granola Bars such as Nature Valley Yogurt Bars are delicious and energizing. They also have fiber and are low in fat and calories

4. Reduced calorie potato chips are good too. They have Pringles in various low-fat flavors including barbecued. These chips are also low fat.

5. Reduced-fat muffins are really good. You can buy Jiffy Mix in different flavors to bake up quickly, or Betty Crocker Muffin Mix which also makes really tasty muffins.

6. Goldfish crackers come in many different flavors and are very reasonable in fat. To satisfy you craving for salt, try these. They come in pizza, Parmesan cheese, cheddar, and other flavors.

7. Waverly Crackers are excellent and so are Ritz Crackers. Ritz has miniature peanut butter crackers. Per serving size, they are very reasonable in fat and calories

8. There are many 100 calorie packs on the market from sweet to salty snacks.

9. Graham Cracker squares are excellent. Two full sheets only have 3 grams of fat

10. Weight Watchers has several types of cookies out there such as Oatmeal. These are very tasty and low in calories and fat.

11. The Weight Watcher's frozen novelties are great; the Ice Cream Sandwiches and their ice cream bars are excellent.

12. Yo plait Yogurt is really good. There are whipped yogurt's in a cup that are excellent and low in fat and calories.

13. Sugar free rice pudding by Kozy Shack is very low in calories and hardly has any fat. Try some with cinnamon on the top.

14. English muffins are in many flavors and make a wholesome healthy snack that is low in calories and fat.

15. Try some whole-grain crackers and top them with peanut butter.You'll get some fiber and protein that way.

16. Check out rice cakes. They are super low in fat and calories and come in a variety of flavors.

17. Low-fat cold cuts are a good snack with mustard rolled up. Try Dijon mustard for added flavor

18. Peanuts are a snack that have a lot of healthy mono unsaturated fat. Eating one-half a cup makes a good snack.

19. Pop tarts are fine and provide some fiber. These are good for snacks but I wouldn't eat them solely for breakfast.

20. Sweet tooth? Try some of the Snack Wells cookies. They make them in many flavors and they are low in fat in calories.

So this should give you plenty of ideas that are healthy and satisfying! Snacking is important to keep up your energy levels and keep you feeling sustained. Choose wisely!
