Millions have seen the video clip that went viral as Serene Branson spoke at the 53rd Annual Grammys event on Sunday, February 13 just outside the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
Branson's words were so garbled that they were incoherent, and the look of fear in her eyes spawned a world-wide concern that the young reporter was having a stroke while on live television.
As it turns out, Branson actually suffered what is called a complex migraine that basically mimics the symptoms of a stroke. Her physician is Dr. Neil Martin who is the chief of neurosurgery at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center.
In the video clip, Dr. Martin said that he plans on asking Branson for permission to share the clip with others in the medical field.
On Thursday, February 17, Branson spoke with CBS2's Pat Harvey about the event and how frightened she was.
Branson told Harvey, "My head was definitely pounding and I was very uncomfortable and I knew something wasn't right. I was terrified and confused. Confused. What had just happened? At that point they sat me down, then my right cheek went numb. My right hand went numb and I lost some sensation in my arm."

If you watch the entire clip, Branson ends it by saying she's anxious to get back to work and start reporting on the Oscars (Academy Awards). That event takes place this Sunday, February 27 beginning at 8:00 pm ET.
This year 'The King's Speech' has 12 nominations followed by 'True Grit' with 10.
