Heart People Valentine Craft
These are fun to send to your loved ones or to decorate a classroom or Sunday school bulletin board. And they're super easy to make!
You will need some red, pink, and white construction paper, several small assorted hearts, glue, and scissors. That's it!
First, cut out two large hearts; one pink and one red. Next, cut out four small hearts, 2 each of pink and red. Now, glue the bottom of the large red heart to the bottom of the large pink heart.
Using the white construction paper, cut four 2 ½" by 10" strips. Fold each strip back and forth, accordion style.
Now, you are ready to glue the small red hearts to two of the white strips and the small pink hearts to the other two strips. Attach the two strips to the body (the two large hearts) to make the arms and legs. Use the tiny hearts to make a face for your heart person and glue them to your craft.
Let your craft dry for 15 minutes. Then you are ready to display in your classroom, bedroom, or Sunday school. You can also give these to the special people in your life on Valentine's Day.

Make a flower valentine tee shirt with a cotton tee shirt, markers, a pencil, cardboard, and some tape.
First, decide on your choice of flower for your loved one and find a pattern online or in a library book. You can draw your flower by hand for a more personal touch if you like. You will need to trace your drawing onto the tee shirt, with the cardboard inside the shirt. Draw over the outline of the design with your marker. Color in your flower with your markers.
Give your tee shirt to your loved one or make one for yourself. Wear it with pride.
