But my heart is broken.
Hurtful works spoken
From my one true love.
A knife in my heart
As we split apart.
My life is over.
Only a shadow remains.
She acts
As though everything is fine.
I explain the facts
From a viewpoint which is mine.
She ignores me
As always.
Since we're both fine,
She questions the path of my ways.
I don't want to be free.
I want to hold my lover close.
I want to experience all
The life has to offer.
She smiles,
And laughs.
Only her pity have I gained.
In the downward spiral
Do I fall.
For miles and miles
I continually fly
Into an abyss --
Maintained by perpetual heartbreak.
