What kind of foolish heart opens up again?
If only slightly
To just be left sliced open
Pouring out a river of blood
And tears
To be deceived by a strangers touch
And be left alone on the cold floor
Dying again
What kind of heart trusts and is left
Alone, seeking answers that will never come?
Hopeless to find a reason to make sense of the lies,
Betrayal
A heart that trusts is easily broken, but one that never is cold as stone
Dying no matter what
