Heat Your Room in No Time Flat. Stay Warm in Style This Winter

The PVH (Panel Vortex Heater) from Vornado Brings Whole Room Heat in an Edgy, Flat Panel Package

Brian Cartwright
It's going to be a long, cold winter - and many shoppers are looking for ways to keep warm and keep the energy bills down. While there's a wealth of heaters on the market, there simply aren't many options for the style-conscious consumer who is looking for a heater with high end performance, and a modern look. New for 2010 - Vornado has released the PVH Whole Room Heater that features a flat panel style that compliments your contemporary decor. The PVH features sophisticated beveled edges offset by gloss and matte textures accented by silver.

The beauty of the The Vornado PVH (Which stands for Panel Vortex Heater) is more than skin deep - as it features Vornado's powerful Vortex Action technology that allows it to circulate hot air throughout a room. While traditional ceramic, coil, or panel heaters create intense glowing heat, they have no means to distribute that heat throughout the room. The result is inefficient, ineffective heating that, at best, will slowly raise the room temperature over a long period of time. Equipped with a powerful circulator, the Vornado PVH pushes the heat out into the room, creating a heat circulation pattern that quickly warms, and effectively maintains a comfortable room temperature.

Like all Vornado heaters, the PVH was designed with safety in mind. A tipover protection switch cuts power to the heating element and the fan in the event the heater is tipped off center. The PVH features an automatic shutoff system if airflow becomes obstructed from the front or the back. The exterior casing of the PVH never gets hot to the touch, even after hours at peak operation. Equipped with tight grill spirals on the air outlet, even curious little fingers remain out of harm's way. Unlike the intense heat generated by coil and reflective heaters, the PVH heating elements never glow red. In fact, the PVH is designed to output a steady stream of 120ยบ air, so there's never a "hot zone".

Control knobs mounted to the top of the unit give the user precise control of the units settings. The heat settings can toggle between low (750 Watts) and High (1500 Watts) depending on the heating power desired.

The Vornado PVH comes with a 5 year warranty - during which time Vornado will repair or replace the unit at no cost. The Vornado consumer service team truly means "no cost" as even the shipping fees are covered by the company, not the customer. The PVH sells for $59.99 at retailers nationwide, including Target, Ace Hardware, Lowe's, Meijer, Fry's, Sears and Gracious Home and as well as online at vornado.com

This particular fan, is all that and a bag of chips! I seriously recommend. The reviewer did a great job... I leave it running for about 3 1/2 hours in the night.
