Heather Mills Has a Emotional Meltdown

During a promotional interview with Ryan Seacrest on his radio show Tuesday (April 3, 2007), Heather Mills had an emotional meltdown on-air when Ryan Seacrest played a fan's message to the star.

The former model, who is also the estranged wife of Beatles's legend Paul McCartney, appeared on Ryan Seacrest's radio show to promote her involvement with the hit television show 'Dancing With The Stars'.

While on the air, Ryan Seacrest told Heather Mills that he had something that he wanted her to hear. It was a recording from a caller that only identified herself as Pat.

The caller said that she wanted to apologize to Heather Mills for allowing the recent articles that the press had published about Heather to effect her opinion of the star. The caller stated that the articles that labeled Heather Mills as a gold digger and that said that Heather Mills only married Paul McCartney for his money only made her grow a hate for Heather.

The caller continued to say that she was ashamed that she had made any judgment against Heather Mills and that she would love to apologize to her. Then she said that she believes that America should apologize as well.

"I'm ashamed that I had a judgment against her, based on what I read in the newspapers... She has won me over. I would love to apologize to her and America should apologize to her... She was wrongfully treated."

During the message, Heather Mills broke down in tears. Heather mentioned that the past few years has been really tough on her, especially when she married Paul McCartney and then divorced him.

Heather Mills also said that she gives 'Dancing With The Stars' full credit for helping redeem herself to the American public.

Heather Mills has been labeled a 'gold digger' since her marriage to Paul McCartney - mostly because of the age difference. She is 39 - Paul McCartney is 64.

When asked during a interview with E! Entertainment, Heather Mills stated that if she was a gold digger, she would have been wealthy before she married Paul McCartney. She also stated that the only possible crime committed was that she fell in love with someone, and if that is indeed a crime, she should be punished.

It appears that the public may be switching sides, or at least realizing that Heather Mills is not the person the media has made her out to be.

    Hmmm.

I wish the media would not taint otherwise good work people have done.

Last I heard, she wanted $40,000 per DAY in alimony. Unless that's changed - I smell a gold digger.

Take your millions from Paul and get lost, goldigger! She has been attempting to shake down Paul by threatening to say personal things (possibly made up) abut Paul to us. Her appearance on a tv show, and one she shouldn't even be on, can't change that. Not to mention she looked like a goof on short stilts the other night.

Why doesn't she just accept a lower settlement from Paul then if she was not after his money. It is her self-promoting attitude that people don't like not the fact that she "fell in love with an icon". She is an inspiration for disabled people, yes, but she is no 2nd Princess Diana.

There are always two sides to every story-or divorce.

Interesting, I've never even heard of Heather Mills before so I have no opinion either way on whether she's a gold digger or not.
