One particular bottle stuck out to me as pretty. A cloudy glass baby blue bottle of perfume with the words Heaven Sent scratched into the glass in nice gold lettering.
Heaven Sent eh?
Not only was the bottle itself pretty to the eye, but the bottles topper was also relatively pretty; possibly even worth a save after the perfume is gone. The top is shaped like a rainbow. It is plastic, and has two cute cherub angels floating about with a few clouds in the sky.
The perfume itself is blue, which is a unique color when it comes to perfume. I have seen it all, pink perfume, red, orange, yellow, and clear... blue however was something different. Usually blue tinted perfume is a scent designed for males. Heaven Sent though is designed for females.
Because of the blue color, my first impression was that Heaven Sent would smell like Cool Water. A very beachy/salty mix, with a masculine touch.
I popped to plastic angel top off of the bottle, and sprayed some of the perfume onto my clothes and wrists.
I took a big whiff, and immediately smelled a very familiar fragrance. Heaven Sent smells 100% like baby powder. There is no mistaking it. Although Heaven Sent claims to contain bergamont, apple blossom, and floral notes... I smelled nothing of the sort.
Heaven Sent was as if I had just squeezed a bottle of baby powder into the air in gag loads. The plus side of it though is that it fades into the air pretty fast, so your only choking for air for a few seconds. Tee-hee!
Anyhow, Heaven Sent is not a horrible smell, in fact, it's quite pleasant... but... it is also something that belongs on babies bottoms.
Last:
Heaven Sent lasts for quite some time when sprayed directly on clothing. On my shirt, I was able to detect Heaven Sent's fragrance for about 4 or 5 hours. Sprayed on my skin though it did not last as long. Around about an hour and I could no longer smell it on my wrists.
Overall:
I honestly like the smell of baby powder, however I don't think I'm enough of a fan to want to wear it as my daily perfume. I like how baby powder reminds me of newborn babies. For me though, walking around smelling like an infant is a bit too much at 25 years old.
Pricing:
Heaven Sent can be found in the prices ranges of $10-$30 depending on the size bottle you purchase. Heaven Sent may not be found in fragrance stores, seeing how it is an older sent. It can however be found online by doing a quick google search.
If you love the sent of baby powder then this is a good cheap find. Plus the bottle is a pretty nice buy for those who like collecting perfume bottles. For those who are not in love with the smell of baby powder, Heaven Sent may be one to avoid.
