I received my first box of Moonstruck Chocolate Truffles as a gift. The first thing I noticed was the exquisite midnight blue box and bow; almost too beautiful to open. But then again we're talking chocolate. I carefully removed the bow and opened the box to find the most beautifully sculpted chocolate truffles I'd ever seen, let alone eaten. Each truffle was finely designed, decorated like a precious gem, and individually hand dipped. One truffle had a small piece of gold leafing on it, so elegant I hesitated to eat it! My hesitation didn't last very long; creamy, well blended flavors that melt in your mouth. Needless to say the box never made it home. I agreed to share them with my staff who insisted we cut each one into quarters so we all had an opportunity to sample each one. Decadently delectable! Being a self proclaimed chocolate snob Moonstruck Chocolate Truffles are by far a cut above the rest. Who knew the most heavenly truffles would come from Portland, Oregon. Moonstruck Chocolate Truffles are, in my opinion, worth their weight in chocolate. Bon Appetite!
