I bought more twist tubes of Heal Tastic than I first intended to. I decided to keep all of the tubes, and try to soften my heels. The method I am using to soften my heels has been showing slight results. I use the product at night when I get into bed. I carry a pair of clean, white socks and the twist up tube of Heel Tastic into bed with me. (The light is off, so I don't have to get back out of bed to turn off the light.) I twist off the top cover of the Tube of Heel Tastic. I rub the directly from the tube liberally all over my heels. I do not touch it with my fingers. I pull my socks on, lay down and go to sleep. When I wake up and remove my socks, I feel that my heels are not so dry. Are they softer? Slightly. Later on, in the shower, I scrub my feet. Now the product is removed. from my feet. Dark socks might stain your foot where you place Heel Tastic on it.
I have been using Heel Tastic every night for about two weeks. Prior to the regiment, I suffered (again) from split skin on my heel. Using Heel Tastic directly on the split skin, causing it to heal. This is a great result.
I used the Ped Egg today on my feet. I hope my skin does not split on my heel, but I guess I will find out. If my skin on my heel does not split at all, this product is working.
I will continue using the product every night while the weather is cold, and I will be wearing socks to bed. Once the weather warms up, I will use the product on my heels, then put on white sweat socks and wear my sneakers during the day. I don't want to stain my sheets on my bed wearing the product while sleeping and not wearing socks.
One downside to this product is the smell. It has a strong odor. It is not an unpleasant odor, but it is not very pleasant either.
So! I will continue to write about Heel Tastic, tube by tube! I will report my progress as I go along, tube one, tube two, etc. etc.
Cheers!
