Heidi Klum - Ends Relationship with Victoria's Secret

Heidi Klum has ended her 13 year association with Victoria's Secret. The Supermodel from Germany emerged on the modeling scene in 1992 after winning a modeling contest. She has gone on to work not only with Victoria's Secret, but Sports Illustrated, McDonald's, Liz Clairborne and many others.

Heidi Klum was born in Germany on June 1st 1973. Her natural beauty combined with her 5 foot 9 inch frame and nearly perfectly proportioned figure of 36-27-37 gave her a universal appeal. Her work has not been limited to modeling, nor was her association with Victoria's Secret limited to modeling. Klum hosted the companies fashion show on four separate occasions, the last being in 2009.

In 2004 Klum became the host for a Bravo series entitled, Project Runway. The production was a realty show featuring fashion designers trying to reach the big time. Klum received a Peabody award in 2008 and was nominated for an Emmy that same year.

Klum branched out with her own clothing designs and was co-designer of Victoria's Secrets lingerie line 'The Body'. She has also released two perfumes entitled 'Heidi Klum' and 'Me'. She has also designed a line of make-up for Victoria's secret apply called 'The Heidi Klum Collection'.

Klum even had a Barbie doll fashioned after her when she became the official ambassador for Barbie's 50th birthday in 2009/ She has made several cameo appearances on a variety of television shows such as CSI: Miami, Sex and the City, Ugly Betty, Desperate Housewives and How I met your Mother.

Klum has also had rolls in several major motion pictures. She appeared in 54, Blow Dry, Blue Collar Comedy Tour, Ella Enchanted, The Life and Death of Peter Sellers, The Devil Wears Prada, and Perfect Stranger.

Klum has been married twice, the first ending in divorce 2002. She married her current husband in 2005, musician Seal. Klum has a total of our children, three of whom are with Seal. Seal adopted Klum oldest child in 2009. The couple recently announced they would be making a new reality series for the Lifetime Network called 'Love's Divine'.

Klum has continually been near the top in annual earnings for models. In 2007 her estimated income was a very handsome $8 million. In 2008 this climbed to $14 million and in 2009 she earned a reported $16 million.

Klum has appeared on the cover many magazines including Sports Illustrated, Vogue, Marie Claire and ELLE, before becoming an 'angel' for Victoria's Secret. With her wide range of talents and areas of interest, Klum's future could go in many different ways. If her past history is any indication, one thing is certain, she will be extremely successful.
