HEIRESS HUGUETTE CLARK - the FINAL CHAPTER

OR is IT?

J.C. JORDAN
The reclusive Huguette Clark died Tuesday at age 104. For months she has been surrounded by the controversial handling of her $500,000,000 fortune that was inherited from her father, W.A. Clark, nicknamed the "Copper King".

Huguette had been a recluse since the death of her mother in 1963, allowing her attorney's Wallace Bock and Irving Kamsler to handle her affairs. Things heated up last year when Huguette's cousins, nieces and nephews petitioned the courts to appoint her a guardian because they were being kept away from her by Bock and Kamsler.

There is speculation that Bock and Kamsler been benefiting from Huguette's fortune after they had her whisked away to a hospital some forty years ago. There is further speculation that both Bock and Kamsler may be beneficiaries in her Will. Have Bock and Kamsler been taking advantage of Huguette Clark? It has been reported that Bock solicited a $1.5 million donation from Huguette which she gave to a West Bank community where Bock's daughter just happens to live. This type of behavior is against New York ethics rules.

While the final chapter has closed on Huguette Clark's life all of the controversary is still being sorted out in court.
