2009 I knew you well!
The time has come to say farewell
The time has come to say farewell
We shared some times
Both good and bad
Thanks for the memories
No need to be sad...
2010 is coming, a year brand new
So you must go..
No room for two!
I've said goodbye to 2009
Lost friends and acquaintances
The grief was mine...
I've found new friends
In this year that's passed by
Found reasons to hope
And at times I've cried
Goodbye 2009!
Welcome 2010!
Your full of hope...
Time to begin again!

Post a CommentHappy New Year! Nice tone of hope in this poem.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! All of the above, politically incorrect, I threw in the New Year because surely these offspring of The Grinch will find something to be offended by. Hey, Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny are an inconvenient blot on American culture. What next?
