I remember when the Cabbage Patch Dolls first arrived on the scene. It seemed as fast as they were put in the stores, they were hastily grabbed up by eager hands. For some unknown reason I just had to have one. Little did I know that behind the scenes my father was scouring different places to buy one for me. Imagine my shock in receiving it. Do you know that I still have that doll to this day? It's a priceless treasure but made more special because it was given to me by my father.

Post a CommentI used to have tons of Barbies...My grandmother gave me her first Barbie...and was one of my most prized possessions...that is, until we were getting ready to move to Florida, parents had a garage sale to get rid of extra things, and Dad sold my whole kit and kaboodle of vintage Barbies, cars, boats, planes, clothes, etc,...all for $25 to some lucky lady when I wasn't home...AAARRRRRGGGG! Forgive him Father for he knew NOT what he has done!!!! Today they would be worth a lot!!!!
Good reporting nice job Laura Everly

I bet our grand-daughter would enjoy visiting this one! I remember trying to get a Cabbage Patch doll when our daughter was small-one of her aunts spotted it and got one for us!
