I wanted to send a quick note to let you all know that I haven't dropped off the face of the earth. I've been spending all of my spare time helping out with family.
My dad is in the final stage of renal failure. He's been in and out of the hospital for the past two years and my mom has had a hard time taking care of him. It has taken the whole family to relieve her of running errands, shopping, and helping get dad back and forth to dialysis, three times a week.
Dad has been getting weaker the past few months and we know that he doesn't have much longer to live. I'm trying to spend as much time as I can with him and also helping out as much as I can. He is in the hospital right now and when he is released he will be going to a nursing home.
I am asking that you all please keep him and my family in your prayers. This is going to be a hard adjustment for my Dad especially since he has never been seperated from my mom for long. Not having her there at night is going to be a big one!
I miss all of you and I click and read an article when I can. I am off today so will be trying to do a bit of catching up on both some writing and reading some of your great articles!
