If I close my eyes I can see, feel, hear every single moment like the one happening right now. Right at this very moment. The best you can do is stay quiet. Always be wrong. Never disagree with him. I made that mistake once. I learned my lesson. Just remember to stay quiet, then it's not so bad. you learn quickly. You'll see. But utter a word and you'll regret it. You'll regret those words, Blow after blow as your body is met with a raging fury of pain that cannot be stopped. Cannot be defeated. Not now.

But then that pain becomes a numbness that buries itself deep inside your soul just so you don't let the tears fall that have been waiting for so long to be set free. "Never ever speak your mind." He says. "Never." Have you learned your lesson yet? That's okay because neither have I.
