Hello Kitty Beauty Collection for Sephora

Recently, the popular beauty product supplier, Sephora, announced that a collection featuring the world famous feline, Hello Kitty would be debuting in their stores in January 2011. The collection will feature all sorts of beauty essentials that will cater to Hello Kitty connoisseurs and beauty product addicts alike. A sneak preview was recently held at the "Small Gift - LA" event in Santa Monica, California. Needless to say, the collection and what it had in store was breathtaking and anticipating.

The new Hello Kitty collection by Sephora is what you would describe as "scintillating". Everything about it shines, from the rhinestone encrusted hand held mirror, to the crystal covered compact shaped as Hello Kitty's face, everything about this collections just sparkles. Beauty components such as kitschy nail polish bottles with an iconic resemblance of Hello Kitty herself will make any non-Hello Kitty fan want to collect them all. If Hello Kitty's figure shape or face is not featured on the actual beauty product, one thing is for sure: the item will be in pink. A Hello Kitty themed perfume, which is in its classic pink color, is also set to debut in this collection, which prompts a "finally" from me since this type of official product has been long awaited.

What sets this particular collection apart from the previous 2009 Hello Kitty collection by MAC cosmetics, is the theme. The Hello Kitty collection by MAC cosmetics was a more "hip" collection featuring an exclusive black Hello Kitty plush and retro looking cosmetics and beauty cases. Sephora's 2011 Hello Kitty collection has a more "girly" look and appeals to those who love a little bling to their everyday beauty routine.

There was a special workshop hosted at the "Small-Gift - LA" event in which participants had the opportunity to sample a handful of products from this collection and have professionals actually apply some of these on to the participants faces. The makeup professionals also assisted and gave tips and pointers to the participants on how to enhance the look of the makeup and their natural beauty.

For any Hello Kitty fan, everything in this collection is a must have. Even for those that have never been too fond of the infamous feline, beauty aficionados can't help not resisting picking one of these sparkling beauties up. I know I will be running, not walking to snag several, if not all, of these adorable feline beauty must haves.
