Hello, President Obama's Answers to the Economy, Are Beginning to Work!

As He Told Us it Would!

Rose Richmond
For the people that voted for President Obama 2 years ago, hoping for change, the last 2 months have proven they were not stupid for voting for him. Report after report is telling us what he told us in the beginning. The long road he told us about, appears to be coming closer to a more aware, but less stressful place. The economy is showing signs of life, the jobless claims are leveling out and going down, and people spent money like crazy for Christmas.

It would also appear that after the history making "Lame Duck" session, that wasn't lame at all, he has knocked the ball out of the park and should have caused many naysayers to sit up and take notice. Not only did Mr. Obama make history from the campaign and his election, he has repeatedly done things throughout his term that are history makers. The health care bill that has been fought about over and over for years, was passed. Something that no other President has been able to accomplish. His confidence in the failing companies he loaned money to, was proven to be right. Most have paid the money back as they should. Repealing the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" issue was yet another history making act, passed in part to the President's personal involvement to get it done.

It most certainly has been an extremely long and tough couple of years for the economy. The country has gone through elections, extremism and other craziness with this President. We have seen the worst in people because of race issues and just plain old fashioned ignorance. We have watched grown folks lose control because they thought he was going to turn us into a Socialist Country. We have seen FOX news go from the "Crying Man, Glenn Beck" to Sean, the Knife, Hannity, telling us everything from Mr. Obama wasn't even an American Citizen to Beck, predicting the end of life as we have known it in America. Everybody thought it was going to be a "Grand Slam" for the recent elections. It was a turnaround, but it wasn't what they thought it would be.

The funny thing about this recent election is the awareness it created. America is not the bunch of uniformed dummies we used to be. The Internet has opened America's eyes. With each passing day, more and more people are finding how useful having a computer and the Internet truly is. They are not just sitting back and accepting the lies told in our Government. They are checking facts and staying more informed than ever. If this Congress of Republican Rule goes through the next year and doesn't get things done, Americans are not going to care about anything but their pocketbooks and their families. The good ole boys in Washington will go home, just like in these elections. Everyone is tired of the bull in Washington and in their local Governments.

Now that President Obama has yet once again been proven to be right and has done such extraordinary things while in office, to date, will America finally stand behind him and support him as we should? Maybe show him the respect he deserves? Well, one would think so!. However, now the people who continue to hate everything,if it is not their party, have returned to the birth certificate issue. Calling themselves, "birthers", they have decided that after all the trash talk to this point, they had nothing else to talk about except the birth certificate. Because, he has totally kept his campaign promises and the things he had told the country about the economy has been right on the mark, they are at a loss for something to keep them in the limelight. What now?

It has been 2 years America. It is time to get behind our President and stop trying to destroy him over ignorance and the refusal to participate in this country's growth and prosperity. If he is doing his job, why would you not support him? United We Stand, Divided We Fall! Is it productive for our country to continue to try and destroy? It is always one's right to disagree, that is healthy, but to disagree to be disagreeable lacks intelligence.

Great job Mr. President. You have told America the truth and you have stood by your word. That is what a leader does. No matter the situation we are in, telling the truth and working to do the right thing is the fabric of our country. Thank you for that!

I'm with ya', Rose. :o) I got impatient with Obama a few times in the past year, but the dude really has proven himself a lot more shrew and right than I thought. Gotta give credits where they are due. He is right a lot more than he is wrong... so far. :o) ___ Happy 2011!

No matter who got elected in the last Presidential election, it was going to be a long, rough road for that candidate. Rome was not built in a day.
